It's morning and the sun gilds the meadows. On the avenue, long and dark cypresses seem to wait while, in the sky, the clouds linger over the abbey of San Galgano. Everything in that unique corner of Tuscany, today seems to await the throbbing wedding of Ciaran and Lucy. But it's still early.
Both, within the walls of the Terre di San Galgano farmhouse, prepare for the big day. Lucy, dressed in a sundress the color of the hills, lets herself be pampered by her friends who help her to be even more beautiful for her big day. Ciaran, in the other room, gets ready surrounded by his loved ones while observing the Tuscan landscape.
The bride is ready, she replies with a smile to the general emotion. Here we go, it's time to go.
The wedding procession arrives in the abbey welcomed by the happy looks of the guests. The abbey, famous throughout the world for its main feature, namely the lack of a ceiling, throws the ancient walls towards the sky. No roof for this love, the sky is the setting for this beautiful day.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom spend a few moments with the photographers inside the abbey to take some photos. A pleasant interlude before starting the festivities.
In the meantime, the guests await the arrival of the newly weds in the farmhouse, entertained by the 'Last Minute Dirty Band', a Tuscan musical group, which kept the guests dancing and having fun throughout the afternoon.
The party continues inside the hall where, in keeping with the Anglo-Saxon tradition, speeches by parents and friends took place, to then finish with the newlyweds dancing under the starry sky, on a pleasant early summer evening.
